What is the difference between Wardleys bullseye 7.0 and Seachem liquid Neutral regulator ?
Q. Ive been using wardleys bullseye 7.0 and been fine. I would like to use the Seachem 7.0 liquid Regulator as it is less expesive and will last longer. I have two low tech tanks with java fern and Anubias.

A. If you have lo-tech tanks, then I wouldn't even bother messing with your pH. Most of the time, your water is too hard to keep the pH at 7.0, so it'll pop back up to where it was. If you want to keep it more lo-tech, add driftwood and soften your water the natural way.

How did the numbers 7 and 13 come to have their associations with good and bad luck respectively?
Q. I'm asking for the root cause or explanation from where it started out and also for how it spread from there to a general phenomenon 7,especially is a good number for a number of world religions, not just Christianity.What's so special about it? And where the heck did 13 come from, anyway?

A. Hello, According to Issac Asimov, the number 13 derives it's negative connotations from the fact that the first Passover was to have occurred on the 14th day of the fourth month. Now according to Jewish time, the new day starts at sunset, so the 14th for them, was the 13th for the rest of Egypt. On this night, all the firstborn of men and cattle were killed by the Spirit of God, which "passed over" the Jewish houses with the blood-stained lintels and door jambs. This caused the Egyptians to consider the 13th the most unlucky of days, and it may be assumed that words spread from there. I do not know why 7 is considered lucky. Thank you for your question.
