GNU Free Documentation License Travelling to the USA on a one way ticket- will I have customs and immigrations problems? Q. We are going on a road trip for 3 months and meeting in Canda, then going to move on around america. I have only bought a one way flight, then will go to the airport on the way back and book another flight. Am i likely to have difficulty getting through customs? Thanks! It is not clear if Canada qualifies as "any foreign destination" because going to Canada for a short trip after entering the USA on the VWP does NOT count as "leaving" the USA. I recommend you avoid the problem by simply getting a round-trip ticket with the departure date a bit less than 90 days after your USA arrival date. And why don't anyone of power ever do it?I mean not just Obama but GWB,Bill,Papa Bush,I mean as far back as I can remember they didn't do Asked by mimi - Fri Mar 13 15:27:04 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. All this boils down to is cheap labor. Corporations own this country. The gov wont go against them. So they pretend to be doing something with a raid here and another one there while in reality they are giving corps. a free pass. They will never be serious about it. If the workforce is really needed then they should implement a proper gust worker program. Corps. will still have their cheap labor and we'll know who is here. But corps always want chepER labor.
